This Data Use Policy describes our practices with respect to data we collect from you or about you for the purposes of model training and fine-tuning, benchmarking, and integration.

Collecting user data allows us to improve the capabilities and performance of our AI system. Being able to train and benchmark on your data will allow us to fine-tune our model for your use-case and significantly improve performance specifically for your business.

We know that your data is confidential and proprietary and take this responsibility very seriously, and we are committed to transparency about data use and providing you with control over how your data is used in our process.

Policy Summary

Purpose of Data Use: Developing Espresso’s AI models and systems.

Data Storage: Espresso AI database in a major cloud provider.

Data Processing and Handling: Data will be accessed only by Espresso AI personnel strictly for approved business purposes.

Information Sharing: We may use third-party APIs to help develop or run our product. We do not use any third-party APIs which train on user data.

Data Storage & Handling

Data will be stored in an Espresso AI database, hosted in the cloud.  Espresso AI personnel may, from time to time, make local copies of parts of this data as needed for development. These copies will be deleted once no longer required.

Data Use

Your query logs and database metadata (e.g. table schemas, table statistics, and runtimes) will be used to train our AI models to optimize query performance. No customer database data is used for training.

Information Sharing

Information may be shared with listed third parties for the purpose of developing, training, and testing models and providing the services. No third party is allowed to train on customer metadata.
