An XS warehouse consumes 1 credit per hour, S consumes 2, M consumes 4, and 4XL consumes 128. Representative US on-demand credit rates are about $2 on Standard, $3 on Enterprise, and $4 on Business Critical. A small team that runs an XS for 160 hours at $2 per credit uses about $320 in warehouse credits before storage and other services.
Storage is billed separately at about $23 to $40 per compressed TB per month. Data transfer, serverless features, and Cloud Services can add other charges.
The most useful estimate uses measured hours and size from WAREHOUSE_METERING_HISTORY, then adds storage and service usage. A short test can understate monthly cost if scheduled jobs or reporting workloads run less often during the test period.
